Street Style

In full disclosure I spent the majority of the weekend playing Pokemon Go, so much so that I ended up walking 4.78 miles yesterday just to try and catch them all. Is the game silly? Totally. But is it tons of fun? 100% percent.

Put Together

Walked out the door this morning at 7:30 to head to this month’s Connecting Things event, and it was already over 80 degrees with 100% humidity. Needless to say I plan to work from home for the rest of the day and enjoy cranking my AC as low as it’ll…

Polo

For the first time in a long, long time I spent the majority of my weekend around the house, and not just laying around the house mind you! But actually knocking everything that’d been on my to-do list for the last several weeks, possibly even a month or so. And…

Summer Uniform

It’s official shorts and t-shirt weather in Kentucky, and I have a feeling these warms temps are now officially here to stay. It’s not been 90 degrees much at all the last couple of weeks, and while I know that I shouldn’t be complaining since some folks out west have…

Back Again

Back. Back again. In more ways than one. After a whirlwind 24 hour (that turned into almost 48 hour) trip to Memphis, Tennessee I came down with a serious summer cold and barely left my bed once yesterday – save trips downstairs to fetch more water and/or food.

Tennessee Bound

After a long (and pretty eventful) weekend I’m packing up and hitting the road cause today I’m Tennessee bound! I’m headed down to Memphis today with Tennessee Vacation for some good tunes and BBQ, and I can’t wait for a quick getaway from Louisville – love y’all, mean it, but absence…

Mastin

What a week, what a might fine week. Mighty long as well, but in both good and bad ways – mostly good though. I’ve hit up the yoga studio and ran this week, began assembling all the furniture for my new home office, and took some time off to relax,…

I set out with the goal of being hella productive this week, and I’m happy to check in mid-week and report that for the most part – I’ve been incredibly productive. From unpacking and setting up my new home office space to getting a few runs in as well getting…

Lines

Dude, can I just start by saying how much more productive I am once I step foot outside my house and set up shop just about anywhere else other than my couch? So productive in the fact that I was able to catch up on a month’s worth of emails…

Thursday Things:
DIY Kitchen Hacks

I had contemplated moving apartments, but my landlord isn’t raising rent and my location is pretty rad – so I’m staying put. My kitchen needs some serious love though, these DIY Kitchen Hacks from Emily couldn’t have come at a better time.  Another area of my house that could use…

May Showers

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought the saying was “April showers bring May flowers” not “May showers bring June flowers.” The majority of this month (save a couple of nice days during Derby weekend, praise be) has been plagued with serious rain showers and more severe thunderstorms than…

Kentucky Derby 2016

And just like that, they’re off. In honor of the 142nd Run for the Roses I figured I’d dedicate this week’s Thursday Things to the best two minutes in sports. Whether you’re a local, visitor, or someone admiring from afar – I’ve got you covered.  Ben Sollee launched his new…
