I’ve always considered myself a fairly involved person. Growing up I went on mission trips with my church and did volunteer work. As I got older though it’s safe to say that want waned and self-importance and ignorance took its place. I blame it on the fact that I was young…
The more time that I spend taking photos the more I realize that pictures more often than not don’t always do their subjects justice, and my recent trip to Wyoming made that more apparent than ever.
In full disclosure I spent the majority of the weekend playing Pokemon Go, so much so that I ended up walking 4.78 miles yesterday just to try and catch them all. Is the game silly? Totally. But is it tons of fun? 100% percent.
Early last week I got to experience a city that had always been on my to-do list, but that I never got around to experiencing, when I was lucky enough to head south of the Kentucky border to see all that Memphis had to offer.
A few weeks back I had the chance to head down to Lexington with the folks at Maker’s Mark and Marriott to kick off their 5-city Bourbon Battles tour with some horse racing, bourbon tastings, and a helluva lot of laughs and good times.
Back. Back again. In more ways than one. After a whirlwind 24 hour (that turned into almost 48 hour) trip to Memphis, Tennessee I came down with a serious summer cold and barely left my bed once yesterday – save trips downstairs to fetch more water and/or food.
