Most of y’all have probably seen me talk about Connecting Things Louisville a handful of times, and today I get to share something that was made possible by our monthly event. Because after all, a picture really is worth a thousand words.
A quick background on what we do the first Wednesday of every month: Connecting Things is an event series that promotes the ideas, collaborations and knowledge that make us creatives and doers great.
Luxe Lou Box is an example of one of those collaborations. The ladies behind this monthly subscription box services connected at one of our events, and sharing a mutual love for Louisville – the rest is history.
The Luxe Lou Box is a curated selections from local artisans who believe in beauty and the permission to indulge. Currently featuring picks in two different collections from Fleur, Soul Candy Skincare, Flora Vegan Treats, and Riley and Ko.
Each box includes the following:
- A designer floral arrangement, of either classic flowers or wildflowers
- Spa quality and eco-chic skincare and/or bath & beauty products
- Delicious confections of the vegan variety: i.e. macarons & chocolate covered strawberries
- Hand calligraphy of an inspiring quote by local artists
