Ovadia & Sons combined several of my favorite things, light wash denim, navy, black, and white, into one polished, yet laid back collection. Proving once again that basic doesn’t have to be boring, and for that reason they were my favorite collection from NYFWM Day One.
Public School did what only Public School could do and had their presentation take place in a jailhouse setting.
Timo Weiland made me realize that I desperately need to step up my white shoe game.
This was my first time seeing a Todd Snyder runway show, and I was pleasantly surprised. The perfect casual color palette paired with casual pieces made for a collection that is as practical off the runway as it is on it.
By now you’re probably noticing that white is a thing, and Rochambeau was no exception.
EFM made me realize that it’s totally okay to wear shorts with everything – the only thing I may be missing would be these guy’s bodies, but I won’t say anything if y’all don’t. Also – note how they tied the sneakers, I may be trying that myself before too long (once these blisters go away).
Duckie Brown made me think that I should possibly drop a few pounds and embrace a sheer top or two.
Anzevino Getty did matching short suits, but in a way that I’d actually wear on more than one occasion. That white option? Totally going to be coping that here soon.
