When Minted reached out about potentially working together I was beyond excited to finally have an excuse to get some art up on the walls around the apartment. I’ve lived in the same place for nearly two years, and I’ve yet to decorate – not even once.
Not that it’s not something that I’ve wanted to do, but to be 100% honest and transparent I’d rather spend money on eating out rather than artwork to hang on the walls. A moment on the lips vs. a lifetime on my walls does seem a bit counterintuitive, BUT my own seriously relationship is with food and I’m not a cheater.
Best part about Minted though (besides the fact that it’s an avenue for smaller artists to get their work into the hands of thousands vs. just their Facebook friends)? The artwork is fairly affordable, which means they make it easy to spruce up any area of your home without breaking the bank. Money for food and art? That’s a win, win in my book.
