Y’all. Can’t believe that it’s already Christmas! This year has really flown by, but I’m definitely excited to spend the next couple of days with friends and family celebrating. Celebrating the year that’s passed, and all that is coming our way. I’ve got a handful of get togethers with friends over the next few days and this whiskey sour is definitely on the menu.
It’s the recipe I picked up when I got the chance to sit in on a cocktail class at the Jim Beam Urban Stillhouse last week. Can’t go wrong with a classic whiskey sour. BUT you can definitely spice it up a bit. How? By adding your favorite jam to the mix. Want it a bit spicy? Throw in a dollop or two of a Jalapeño infused jam. Something a little sweeter? Strawberry all the way.
Plus, this is the PERFECT cocktail for your holiday party. A whiskey sour in itself is super easy to make. Since it’s just whiskey, sour mix, and egg whites. Meaning it’s a breeze to make ahead of time. So go ahead and whip up the base in bulk for your guests, and then have jams for them to choose from. They can then make their very own whiskey sour tailored to their own taste! What’s not to love?
