Not gonna lie, Perry Ellis blew me away again this season, and their collection was hands down my favorite of the NYFWM SS16 season. The color palette was fantastic, the styling was spot on, and I love the direction Michael has taken the brand. Keeping my fingers crossed some of these styles make it into stores, because I’d honestly see myself wearing almost everything that walked down that runway.
John Varvatos certainly didn’t disappoint with his first runway show in the states in 8 years. His decision to move his show back to the states definitely speaks volumes about his dedication to the men’s industry, and his interest in helping growing the men’s fashion scene here stateside.
Orley proved that boys can wear crocheted crop tops and short shorts too, and while I may not have the body to be rocking that just yet – I’ll have my eye on a few crocheted tops for next year, trust me.
Imagine Miami in NYC, and you’ll have Ricardo Seco‘s latest collection. And I say that in the best way possible. We all know how much I love good print + print combo, and his obsession with merman print this season is A ok in my book.
Never did I imagine myself wanting to dress like a 70’s cowboy, but after the J Lindberg presentation yesterday I’m definitely considering it.
