I’ll start by stating the obvious, wear sunscreen even if you don’t think it’s that hot out. Otherwise you’ll end up looking like I do in these photos, red as lobster, and like I do now where I’m missing a layer of skin on my forehead. It’s a great look though, so if you want to give it a go for yourself I don’t blame you at all.
Even with a sunburn the past couple of days have been a blast. From hanging out in LA all weekend to attending the Taylor Swift concert last night I can’t complain one bit. While we’re chatting about Taylor I’ll go ahead and say that while I’ve always found her music catchy I was never the HUGEST fan – until last night that is. That girl knows how to put on a serious show, and those back up dancers of hers? They’re worth checking out as well. I’m not ashamed to admit that I sang along to every song and knew every word, and I definitely LOLed at some of the bits that included cameos from Lena, Haim, Selena, and of course her cats.
Upon leaving the concert while sitting in traffic for almost an hour – cause that’s how the cookie crumbles when you attend a concert at the KFC Yum Center – I tweeted a photo stating my newly official “Swifty” status. All was fine and dandy with this newly acquired status until I noticed Taylor had shared my photo on all her social channels, WITHOUT crediting me for the photo. I mean, I’m stoked that she (her team) liked my photo enough to post it, but not giving credit for a photo in this day and age is just rude. So, Taylor while I love you, I would love a photo credit more. I’d never cop a lyric of yours like “Cause, baby, now we got bad blood. You know it used to be mad love.” and try to say it was my own (even if it does sum up how I feel right now), and you should follow the same courtesy with your fan’s photos.
