It may have been Blue Monday earlier this week, but it was one of the warmest days we’ve had in Louisville the past few weeks; which means I wasn’t complaining at all.
I’m a fan of sweatshirt and jeans weather to a certain extent, but after a couple of weeks of piling on layer after layer I was more than happy to walk outside without first having to brace myself for the arctic chill.
It’s been in the 40s (almost 50 some days) this week in Louisville, and most traces of last week’s snowstorm are now puddles along our sidewalks. As I gear up for this weekend’s trip to New York for Fashion Week I’m hoping the sidewalks in The Big Apple have followed suit. Cause stomping down snow covered sidewalks all, day, long isn’t nearly as glamorous (or pretty) as it sounds.
