Like I said in yesterday’s post cooking in my kitchen this time of year is a scorcher. Last year that meant very little (read that no cooking) during the summer, especially if it involved the oven. This year however is a different story.
Growing up in the country one of my favorite parts about the Summer months was BBQs, and boy does my family (especially my uncles) know how to use a grill. Sadly, with me living in apartments for the last 5 or so years I’ve not been able to grill much at all. Lugging a huge grill from apartment to apartment was never really an option for me, and besides that I’ve not really had the space for one. Now thanks to Weber those challenges are a thing of the past, and they’ve made apartment grilling much, much easier.
With it’s lightweight size and ease of portability it makes apartment grilling a reality! I can almost hear y’all shaking your heads now in disbelief, but trust me when I say it is small but mighty. Once we got her fired up, the corn on the cob + meat (ribs recipe coming your way tomorrow!) were ready to eat in under 30 minutes. Plus, what’s not to love about a grill that’s a beast AND comes in fun colors? Consider me sold.
I’m sure I’m not the only one that’s had to sacrifice their love of grilling when we adopted apartment living, and Weber understands your plight as well. Because of that they’re running a sweepstakes where they’re giving away a grill every week until the end of June, with a grand prize of a trip to one of six locations (which correspond with the colors of the grill). Now what are you waiting for, head over to Weber Q Sweepstakes to enter to win, and after doing so comment below to let me know how you would use your Q in Color grill to make your Summer grilling dreams come true.

Amen to that!
This would be such a great tailgate grill! We just moved from an apartment to a rental house so my fiance got a BGE.. But I agree, apartment living + cooking indoors makes it so stifling hot it’s almost too miserable to want to do it! Fun post!

This is SO cool. I’ve always wanted a tiny grill but I don’t have a balcony or anything at my apartment, and like you said, I don’t even have anywhere to store one. I totally entered the giveaway. 🙂
