It was helluva scorcher this weekend in Louisville. Which means my third floor apartment was essentially a sauna, especially yesterday. I spent close to 8 hours cooking Mother’s Day dinner for my parents. I love getting to cook for them, but doing so in an 100 year old house on the hottest day of the year (so far) was definitely challenging to say the least. I’m all for the hot weather, but I mean is 90 degrees in May really necessary? I don’t really think so, but beggars can’t be choosers, right? One thing’s for sure though: I’ll take this over the weather we had this winter any day.
Speaking of the colder months we all know how much I love wearing a Canadian Tuxedo during that time, and yesterday I decided to transition my love for it into the warmer months. Mostly thanks to one of the latest additions to my closet from boohooMan. I’m all for stocking my closet with pieces that flux from season to season, and another reason why I always stick with the basics. If you’re looking to do the same opt for a lighter color of denim on top and bottom. Top it off with your favorite shades and sandals, and you’re good to go. How do you transition some of your favorite cooler weather looks into Summer?

Thank you Mira!
I think the chambray shirt without a collar is awesome, saw it at forever 21 men and had to look twice!
