On our last day in Charleston we spent the morning exploring Rainbow Row, and boy was it the perfect way to spend our last day in the Holy City. If you’re ever in Charleston I’d definitely recommend spending a good couple of hours here, as we definitely could’ve done more exploring in the area, but the road was calling our names. While Rainbow Row is actually only 13 houses the surrounding neighborhoods and homes are just as charming and worth exploring.
We even stumbled upon a house that was for sale in the area, with a pool in the back yard and everything, for the cool price of a couple million. Believe it or not, there may have been some discussion on pitching in to buy the house together. Mostly in jest of course, because we all know blogging doesn’t always pay that well (unless you’re The Blonde Salad), but it definitely would be nice to be in a house full of other bloggers. You’d always have someone to take your outfit photos, and what more can you really ask for?
Like I said the other day it was SO humid the few days we were there, and because of that I kept it pretty basic for our last day in these Topman shorts and speckled tank. When the weather is hot I’m not able that layered life and tend to steer towards the bare necessities, and the older I’ve gotten the more I’ve realized that while I may not impress everyone with what I’m wearing I’d rather be comfortable at the end of the day.
