When hunting for the perfect fit of denim there ain’t no mountain high enough, ain’t no valley low enough, ain’t no river wide enough to keep me from finding the best fit. I’ve always been something of a denim junkie. I mean – does it get much more southern than a good fitting pair of jeans? I don’t think so.
Being a tall guy finding GOOD fitting jeans that don’t cost an arm and leg can sometimes be next to impossible, especially if you’re a fan of slim or skinny fits – like myself. Which is why I was more than a little excited when H&M reached out to me about test driving some of their new & updated denim fits. I headed into my local store before heading to NYFW and picked up one of their new skinny fits + a slim fitting pair.
There’s a few things I look for when trying out a new pair/style of jeans: how they fit, if they’re long enough, and how they hold their shape. Being 6’4, but only 180 pounds has it’s disadvantages, namely how clothes fit me. It’s incredibly hard to find a 31 in waist, with a 34 inch inseam, but H&M had me covered – so far so good. On to the next test question: since I tend to live in denim it’s important for me that they keep their shape. There’s nothing worse than having saggy butt after wearing the jeans for a few hours, am I right? I may not have 6 pack abs or a killer chest, but I’ve got certain other assets. Best part about my new H&M jeans? They show off said asset. In other words – they passed my test with flying colors
What’s better than a good fitting pair of jeans? A good fitting pair of jeans that doesn’t break the bank.
