Whenever someone is coming into town for the first time in a few years, or if I have a first time visitor to Louisville the first thing on my to-do list for them is to visit Nulu. I live in the Highlands, and love it – but when it comes to a true walkable experience for locals or out of town folks Nulu is where it’s at.
Whether you’re grabbing brunch at Harvest or Toast, fueling up for a day at the Flea Off Market at Please & Thank You, or browsing through local art at Revelry – there’s a little something for everyone.
Nulu was the first neighborhood to reap the benefits of the “cool” wave that Louisville is currently riding. From new restaurants and bars opening every couple of months, to art incubator programs coming to life in former store fronts – it’s a true gem.
Also, it’s easily one of the more photogenic areas of Louisville, and for that reason you’ve seen quite a bit of it lately. Sorry, not sorry? Here’s a killer weekend with warmer temps and hopefully lots and lots of sun. Cheers.
