Drawing some inspiration from fellow blogger, Pelayo Diaz from katelovesme, for today’s look. Pelayo is a men’s style blogger based in London, he’s a definite breath of fresh air for me. I can only see so many suit and tie looks from the men’s blogosphere before I feel like I’m going to scream. His blog is full of leather, plaid, and skinny jeans – all of which are right up my alley. Keeping it simple in a black and white ensemble with a leather jacket and, what’s quickly turning into my favorite waist-tie accessory, a plaid shirt.

Can’t really go wrong with a black and white look, right? Whenever I can’t decide on what to wear I always reach for these two. Black is always flattering and helps you look pulled together even if you aren’t 100% feeling the outfit. White helps ground the outfit and keep you from looking like you just left a funeral. If you’re having trouble getting dressed this morning put on your favorite black jeans and a killer t-shirt with your best plaid and leather jacket, and I promise you’ll make today your bitch.
