Note to self: whenever you’re going to be squeezing into jeans for the first time in a few months do not (I repeat do not) eat two homemade nutter-butters from Please & Thank You. In my defense I had only planned on eating one, but Jen from Pages of Style couldn’t finish hers and I hate seeing peanut butter go to waste.
Anyways I was squeezing into jeans to break in my new Wolverine 1000 Mile Boots from Steven Alan, and while I may not be 100% ready to trade in my shorts for jeans I’m definitely ready to start wearing boots again. IF you’re in the same boat consider cuffing up your jeans a little higher than normal, showing off some ankle, and opting for an oversized tank in lieu of your plaid shirt.
In other news though yesterday was quite the doozy, in the best way possible, I ran around town with Jen, had a meeting Miranda about Connecting Things (stay tuned for more on that), and rounded out the night with dinner with Chelcey at Stout Burgers & Beers. I didn’t get nearly as much crossed off my to-do list as I would’ve hoped, but you win some, you lose some, right?
