I was all about wishing summer away a few weeks ago, and you can blame the beyond stifling heat for that. Now that the heat has started to let up a little bit though, I’m definitely ready to enjoy the last few weeks of summer.

Last night I dipped my feet in a pool, drank some ice-cold beer, listened to a little bit of live music, and the view was the absolute best part. I love living in Louisville, but it’s nice to escape the city on occasion, which is exactly what I did last night.
