Even though I’m head to toe in blue, I’m the furthest from feeling blue as humanely possible at this point. Why you may ask? Well – I’m flying out to La La Land in a few hours for a weekend get-away, then “working” Monday-Wednesday. I’ll be visiting showrooms in LA on Monday before attending the Agenda Trade Show on Tuesday and Wednesday in Long Beach. If you’re gonna be at the show and reading this, let me know! Let’s meet up.

I was told recently that men should always fly in suits – even if traveling for leisure. It helps you stand out, and seem like you’re a VIP. Couldn’t agree more, really, but does a Canadian Tuxedo count as  a suit? If you’re not up for donning a suit for the plane, make sure you do dress the part though. No matter how badly you want to board the plane in sweatpants and a hoodie make yourself look presentable. You never know who you could meet on the plane, and you’d hate for the first impression of you to be that you’re someone who doesn’t care about how they look. Image is EVERYTHING in this day and age.

Be on the look out for some fun posts once I’m back from LA. Meeting up with writing team for the magazine I’m writing for out there, Naluda, if you haven’t checked it out yet head on over to their site! Also be sure to tag along with on my Instagram to keep up to date with all my adventures next week.

Be well and have a great weekend!

Stylishly Yours,

The Kentucky Gent
