The Fresh Exchange always, always serves as a source of inspiration for me. I mean with graphics like above how could they not, right? But this week they may/may not have inspired me to give this “Whole 30” thing a chance. Because a chance to begin fresh sounds like something I could use right about now. That Summer body isn’t going to build itself after all.
But before I do that I’ve got to try Beau’s Fried Avocado Toast. What’s not to love about Avo Toast? Especially when it’s fried.
One major advantage I see of doing this Whole 30 deal though is that my skin could seriously benefit from it. These 10 tips from Cara Delevingne’s Esthetician were a serious wake up call that I need to start taking better care of mine. Mostly the part about how if your colon isn’t functioning properly it comes out on your face. Thanks Man Repeller for letting me know that my poop comes out my face if I’m not able to go #2.
Another thing I realized with all this talk of food and taking care of myself is that I need to start eating breakfast more often, and by breakfast I mean a healthy breakfast that actually makes me get up and go in the mornings. This recipe from Gimme Some Oven for Easy Blueberry Crisp may be my lifesaver.
Justin’s latest post made me really, really nostalgic about my younger days spent at “shows” and more than ready for the Summer music festivals I’ll be attending.
Disclaimer: I’m with Thom on this, and while I certainly don’t have a problem with anyone based on their weight, I do think that saying it’s okay to be any way/shape/form that’s actually bad for your health isn’t something that we should be saying.
Did y’all know that 74% of Americans STILL put on pajamas before bed? I’m certainly not one of them, and here are 6 reasons why you should join me in sleeping in the nude.
The girls at Wandeleur are full of nuggets of knowledge this week: from giving us tips on why sleeping in the buff is best to the best Instagram accounts to follow (with a little giveaway included.)
If you love cute dogs (two to be exact) and good causes then head over to Yellow Brick Home to see what they’re up to and donate to a worthwhile cause.
Here’s round two of love for The Fresh Exchange this week, and it couldn’t come at a more perfect time as I’m pulling the trigger and booking trips pretty much every week next month. So take their word for it, as well as mine, and just go.
David Bromstad, if you’re listening I’ll go wherever with you. We both love Lord of the Rings, the kitchen is our favorite room in the house, and we have a mutual love for Sia. I think this is fate’s way of saying we’re meant to be if you agree, e-mail me.

Speaking of interior designers (and my crushes on them) there’s an update on Orcondo over on Emily Henderson’s blog, and it’s one update you’re not gonna want to miss.
Another thing you’re not going to want to miss is Nordstrom’s Half Yearly Sale, I rounded up some of my favorites right over here.
I’m looking forward to Beats & Eats at Decca tonight with beats by DJ Ryan Rugger and eats by Chef Annie Pettry. Be sure to come out and join me and Miranda, from The Chic Street, tonight from 10:30 – 2! If you can’t make it, follow along on Instagram and Snapchat @TheKentuckyGent.
