This weekend I took a little impromptu break and went off the grid for a few days, and while I may/may not be ready to join the online world again – I’m back! Needless to say I’ve got more than just a little bit of catching up to do, but it was beyond nice to disconnect from my online life for a bit and enjoy some real life experiences with my family and friends.
Most of my week and weekend alike were spent in the kitchen cooking and baking for Thanksgiving on Thursday and Friendsgiving on Friday. My fridge is full of leftovers, and my kitchen still smells like fresh baked bookies. Truth be told – I wouldn’t have it any other way. Hope your holiday weekend was one for the books!
