βGuard your time fiercely. Be generous with it, but be intentional about it.β
I spent my day yesterday with some of the best friends a guy could ask for. My friend Lindsay gets married 6 days from now, and she’ll be the first of my close friends to get married. It’s official. I’m entering that age where most of my friends are settling down, getting married, and having/at least talking of children, and I’m over here like “Can I get two scoops of Cake Batter Up in a cup with Reese Cups?”
While a second scoop of ice cream seems to the be closest thing to someone by side at this point in my life, seeing Lindsay and her fiancΓ©, Chris, interact I’m hopeful for my future. Right now I know that I need to focus on me, what I’m doing, and what lies ahead, but that doesn’t make it any easier (sometimes).
Until then I’ll continue to enjoy cooking for my friends (I whipped up an INCREDIBLE Spinach & Bacon Breakfast Casserole yesterday for Lindsay’s Bridal Brunch), spending money on myself (I picked up this Miansai wrap bracelet from East Dane last week, and I’m in love), and continue to reach for the stars (I have a meeting with the Kentucky Department of Travel & Tourism this week, keep your fingers crossed).
Fall is a time of new beginnings, and I’m incredibly excited to have several things up my sleeve that will be rolling out over the next few weeks. Be sure to stay tuned here and on Facebook to see what I’m up to, there are some seriously incredible announcements headed your way soon.
