I was THIS close to forgetting what it felt like to be an actual living human being when the fog I’ve been living in since returning from NYFW lifted. To celebrate that joyous and monumental occasion I figured I’d share the last bit of my NYC adventures in Central Park with y’all.
I was talking with someone I met this season at the shows earlier this week, and we both agreed that we’re definitely still in the haze that is fashion week – which I guess is both good and bad? This season was definitely my craziest/busiest/most productive season to date, and I got the chance to turn several online friends into IRL friends, meet with potential brand partners, and network my butt off. All of which I’m beyond thankful for. I mean who doesn’t love getting to run into Adam, Mary, Ashley, Grasie, Jacey, Isaac, etc. Getting to work with Louboutin? Sign me up. Talking New York Fashion Week: Men’s with the team at Mack Weldon? I’m game.
It’s funny to think now that I almost made the decision to not go to the shows this season. Because now that I’m looking back on the week I had, the people I met, and the memories I made I’m definitely feeling straight out of the book “Wild”. When Cheryl had the realization that she might never have gotten to where she was had she not did all the things she did, that’s exactly how I feel right now.
