I was lucky enough to be able to team up with long time friend and designer behind Evolution Stops Here for today’s post. I’ve worked with the brand for many years, but always behind the scenes, so it was different to step in front of the camera for the “Battle Louisville” collection. Thought flexing my little muscles was called for in homage to the name of the collection. I’m not the typical ESH model, but I definitely put my twist on it none the less. Giving thanks for two local artists today actually, the other is my lovely tattoo artist Amber, without her I’d just be another tall guy in a tank top π Tank Top // (c/o) Evolution Stops Here, Plaid Shirt // 21Men, Jeans // WeSC, Boots // Steve Madden, Wayfarers // Ray-ban
Be sure to keep an eye out for future posts with ESH, as I’ll be teaming up with them for a shoot shortly. But until then here’s a little info on them. “Evolution Stops Here aka ESH started five years ago as an MMA tshirt brand known for its iconographic identity. Since then it has creeped into an underground culture of ‘badass’ collaborating with a network of talent across many disciplinesβdesigners, athletes, fighters, photographers, traceurs, artists, musicians, stylists, etc. While fashion is one outlet for this cross-pollination of creativity, the Esh brand continues to manifest itself in a variety of experiences.”
Keep on rocking, celebrate being imperfect, and find your place.
