I hope you’ll join me this weekend for Anchal Project’s trunk show. They’ll be showing casing their latest goods, and I’ll be covering it for the blog! If you haven’t heard of them – be sure to check them out this weekend. You won’t want to miss out on this opportunity to give a life-changing gift this holiday season. Shop one-of-a-kind artisan textiles from India at their exclusive pop-up shop. Enjoy cocktails & sweet Friday evening or cider on Saturday morning. Details are below! Just another reason I love the great city that is Louisville.
What: Anchal Project is hosting an exclusive reception and trunk show featuring its one-of-a-kind scarves, quilts, pillows and art. Guests will have the opportunity to view and purchase the handcrafted items and speak with co-founder, Colleen Clines.
When: Dec. 6th | 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Dec. 7th| 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Why: Colleen Clines is passionate about creating sustainable solutions to social and environment injustice. Through the Anchal Project, which provides alternative careers in textiles to marginalized and exploited women in India, Colleen has proven that textile-making can enhance life and help alleviate poverty. Every purchase made empowers Anchal’s artisans and expands their access to design workshops education, healthcare and scholarship programs.
