In true Beyoncé fashion this post is coming from you live from a dark alley behind one of my favorite coffee shops, complete with twerking and Flawless (The Remix) on repeat.
Whenever I’m having a bad day (or any kind of day in general), there’s nothing that a little dance party to Beyoncé won’t fix, and there’s never an outfit that a plaid shirt won’t make better. Besides reminding me of the Flawless video a plaid shirt/trusty flannel is the one thing in my closet that I always reach for. If I’m not feeling particularly daring one morning, or if I’m not really feeling better dressed in general I’ll always throw on a pair of Levi’s and a plaid before heading out the door. Besides waking up flawless, this is the best way I know how to bring my B game to the streets, where it belongs.
