Summer without the beach is like ice cream without toppings. Sometimes we get so bogged down with day to day life, whether that be work, love, or just life in general, that we forget to relax and live a little. Summer vacations were the one thing I looked forward to every summer. It wasn’t always trips to the biggest or best destinations, but it always involved a beach. There’s just something about the sand between my toes that makes my heart flutter. Maybe it’s because I’m an Aquarius (even though that means I’m actually an air sign, but whatever), or the fact that the water has always been calming to me.
