Black and Blue Canadian Tuxedo

It never fails that when I have something that I need to clean up for (and I use this term very, very loosely) that I reach for one of the many denim shirts in my closet. Typically in situations like this I reach for the darker ones like I’m wearing today, but as the weather is starting to warm up I’ll be incorporating my lighter wash shirts into the mix as well.

Instead of opting for a denim on denim look I took a page from my girl Grasie and went for a pair of black skinnies: for a few reasons. Namely because black denim is always dressier in my opinion, and secondly because it breaks up what could be an otherwise monotone look.

I know that I shared a post on how to edit photos in Lightroom not too long ago, but I feel like I’ve already learned SO many new things about editing over the last few weeks that I think it’s time for a part two.

That’s the beauty and the curse of this line of work. What you feel like is your best work this week will inevitably be some of your worst work in just a few short weeks/months. But on the positive side of that, we’re always learning, moving and grooving.
