I’m most of all excited to announce that I’m officially one of the 15 ambassadors for the Kentucky Derby Festival Marathon this year! While I have rain 3 half marathons and a handful of other races this will be my first full marathon, and I couldn’t be more excited to be training for it alongside 14 amazing runners from different walks of life in Louisville. More importantly, I get to do it alongside two friends of mine and local bloggers, Bella Of Louisville & Allison Meyers. When training it’s important to be sure you’re stocked up on all the right gear. In Louisville I always hit up Blue Mile on Bardstown Road for new gear whenever I start my training regime. My go-to gear of choice is Nike, hands down. I’ve always been a fan of how their clothes fit and how the shoes hold up, and on top of that they’ve built an incredible online running community.
