I think, fingers crossed, that warmer weather is finally here to stay. Thanks the gods! We all know the weather is perfect when the sun goes out, but what about when the sun starts to set? It drops quite a few degrees, and that tank top you were wearing isn’t quite warm enough anymore. It’s still important to layer in spring, just opt for lighter colors and looser fitting fabrics that you can take on/off easily. One of my favorite layering pieces as we transition into warmer weather is a denim shirt. This vintage J. Crew denim shirt is perfect for wearing open over an oversized tank during the day, then buttoning all the way up once the sun starts to go down. We all know I love a 90’s throwback and this tie-dye tank top has been dying to get out of my closet for months now! Key to layering in the spring is to keep everything loose, let everything breathe. It’ll keep your warm when you need to, but will keep you cooled off while the sun is still out. I recommend ordering a size up if you’re planning to use anything as your top layering piece, you don’t want to look poured into your layers. What are you style tips for Spring?
