It seems like just yesterday that I was dealing with the occasional break out that would stop me dead in my tracks. I’d spend countless hours accessing the damage in the bathroom mirror, devising the best course of action, and then picking at my face for way too long. Which is something that I now regret. My face definitely shows some wear and tear from my over zealous years, and now I’m trying to combat that along with fighting signs of aging, oily skin, and still breaking out when I slack off on my skin care regime.
I’ve certainly spent my fair time perusing the various cosmetic aisles at places like Macy’s, Sephora, and just about every other major retailer looking for that quick fix. Over the years I’ve found products that will combat one area of trouble while causing another, until I was left juggling this, that, and the other thing all in the desperate hope that I’d keep my skin at bay.
But, for the past few weeks, along with growing out this beard, I’ve been trying out a new skin care regime from Lab Series. I’m happy to report that my skin is looking and feeling better than ever. When they originally reached out to me in regards to trying out their products, I was hesitant, but my skin was going through a serious flare up and figured that I, literally, had nothing left to lose.
I’ve been using their Oil Control Face Wash both morning and night followed by their All-in-one Face Treatment. The foaming face wash helps combat the extra oil on my skin without causing any dryness. When followed up with the face treatment my skin is left feeling moisturized, with the added benefit of fighting signs of aging, but not greasy. Their skin care regime has been an easy addition to my daily routine, and I’m loving the results. I’ll be sharing 2 other products reviews over the next few weeks, keep an eye out.
