Sweater // H&M, Jeans // Zara, Henley // American Apparel, Jacket // Black Apple, Boots // Steve Madden
Patterned sweaters are a great go-to for a look this time of year, like the one I’m wearing from H&M. The all over paisley print dresses up the look while I kept it casual with an American Apparel henley underneath versus the traditional button-down shirt. Sometimes a sweater by itself can feel a little blasé, and a starchy white shirt sounds more like a straight jacket to me than a layering piece. Paired back to dark jeans keeps it casual yet cool. An outfit like this is a perfect time to opt for a leather jacket in lieu of a blazer. It’s a great way to add your signature flare to a Holiday outfit.
My go-tos for Holiday parties are a leather jacket and boots. Whether you’re a fan of cuffing your jeans, or leaving them as is boots are a great options for any outfit. If you’re a taller guy like me wearing your jeans cuffed around the middle of your boots creates a nice division point and breaks up what can seem like never ending legs. As I’ve said in the past a leather jacket adds that “badass” persona to whatever you pair it with. It’s almost a guarantee that 9 out of 10 guys are going to show up in a blazer to the party you’re going to, so why not stand out a little in a leather jacket?
