There’s something so chic about wearing all black, and not to mention even after all the food I shoved in my mouth yesterday in all black you can’t even tell that I look like I’m a few months pregnant. All black looks are especially great for this time of year, they transition from day to evening looks easily. Throw on a leather jacket or your favorite peacoat, and you’re ready to take on the night. Just be sure to have a lint roller handy, since you’ll pick up anything in a 5 mile radius to you.

After many years of working as a manager in the chaos that is Black Friday at the Forever 21 here in Louisville I’ve seen it all, literally. From crazed teenage girls sliding under the gates as we raise them, to these same girls knocking me over as they scramble to their feet, and even knocking mannequins over in their mad dash to grab that item, that’s not even on sale, they’ve been dying to have. Our dress code on Black Fridays was always to wear all black, mainly because it made it easier to tell who was who in the sea of people, but secretly I wished it was always our dress code.
