Baracuta Jacket // BDG T-Shirt // DSTLD Jeans // Dr. Scholl’s Shoes // Mack Weldon Socks & Briefs
By how wet it ended up being yesterday I got this Baracuta G9 jacket just in the nick of time. To be honest, I don’t have a single rain jacket in my entire closet – as silly as that may but, I typically don’t find rain jackets to be the most attractive jackets in the world. Don’t get me wrong, some people look great in trench coats, but me – not so much.
Looks like Baracuta may have just changed my mind about rain jackets though – I mean, look at this one? Doesn’t look like a rain jacket at all, but it kept me perfectly dry running from meeting to meeting yesterday while trying to circumnavigate the campus at U of L. Which, believe it or not is actually a lot harder than it sounds. It’s definitely a small campus, but for a guy that never went to college I was all like WTF, where am I going and WTH is the SAC?! At least I stayed dry, while looking a Kentucky version of James Dean.
Speaking of staying dry.. I’m trying my hand at taking my own photos for the blog again. I’m happy to report that it’s still a love/hate relationship. While I love taking photos – trying to take photos of yourself with a tripod is one of the hardest things I’ve done. Besides being difficult, it’s almost awkward. Take yesterday for instance – I see a guy walking towards me, so I pause taking photos and wait for him to walk on by. I’m waiting, waiting, waiting, and then I look up and see that’s he leaning against a wall just staring at me. He proceeded to stand there for a good 15 minutes, and it was easily one of the more awkward situations I’ve been in. If any of y’all don’t hear from me on a regular scheduled blogging day, let my family know that I may have been abducted while taking blog photos.
