H&M Chambray Shirt (similar here) / H&M Denim (similar here) / Steve Madden Boots / Ale-8-One Ginger-Ale
Today’s post title comes to you courtesy of Ale-8-One (sound it out.. a late one) and maybe a couple of late nights spent working, or more aptly put it’s a combination of both. At least Ale-8-One comes full stocked with caffeine, which makes those late nights plugging away behind my Mac’s screen all that much easier. If you’re not from Kentucky you may not be familiar with the brand, and for that I’m sorry as you’re certainly missing out on some seriously delicious ginger-ale. Only thing that makes it better is a splash or two of bourbon – depending on the night that could go either way really.
This post title may also have something to do with me getting a LATE start on getting ready for the Holidays. Late as in.. I hadn’t even been to a Christmas tree farm until these photos were taken, and I’ve yet to begin gift shopping. Sorry Mom and Dad, it looks like you may be getting a dozen or two cookies for Christmas this year. Lucky for y’all I’ll be sharing the recipe for said cookies next week as part of a little Christmas series I’m working on Grit and Glitter with. I’ll clue you in and say that they will be some variety of gingerbread cookie – thanks to the boys at The Bitten Word and their Cover-to-Cover Holiday Cookies – and the other will center around red velvet cake. I’ll be topping that off with a recipe for homemade apple cider – spiked apple cider of course. Until then, enjoy these cheeky photos from when my Grinch self began getting in the Holiday spirit, and if you’re like me and have waited until now to start shopping, check out my favorites from Nordstrom at the end of the post.
