All I can say is.. woof. I’m tired. Day one of NYFW is a wrap, and the bags I packed aren’t the only ones keep me company in my room at Hudson. From hanging out with the Bollare team to my first shows at Lincoln Center, today certainly was one to remember – thanks in large part to my new friend, Louboutin.
I started off my day at the tents with Desigual, and it was just as good this season as it’s been in the past. But more than anything the playlist had the whole crowd bobbing their heads back and forth, even Katie Holmes as she was sitting front row. I tweeted about her looking even better in person than on TV, and that’s a serious understatement.
One of the shows I’ve been most looking forward this week happened today as well, Perry Ellis. I’ll be the first to admit that I was beyond hesitant about their first runway show in 5 years last season, but boy am I glad I did. The brand is going through a serious facelift thanks to their new creative director, Michael Maccari, and I love the direction he’s taking the brand. I definitely have my eye on one or two (maybe four or five) pieces that I plan on picking up next season.
I finished out my night the Pyer Moss, and let me begin by saying that I love the direction menswear is taking thanks in part to guys like this. Fashion meeting function has never looked so good. Keep tagging along on Twitter & Instagram.
