When it comes to getting dressed I usually start with the shirt I want to wear and go from there. After picking out the shirt I match it with a pair of pants and then thanks to the cold weather that’s still here to stay pick out layering pieces and my coat. Last but not least, I snag my shoes before I leave my bedroom. Today I switched it up a little. The team at Steve Madden Mens sent me some shoes to include in a post, and I couldn’t wait to throw them in the rotation. To focus on the shoes I started at my feet when getting dressed and worked my way up. Granted, it was a bit of a challenge as these guys are a little more dressy than I typically wear. BUT I’m always up for a challenge. Due to the cut of the shoe I picked out my jeans next. I wanted something that I could easily cuff up so show off the cut and details of the shoe, gorgeous wingtip detailing on a fresh Chukka Boot silhouette. Steve Madden has always been great at mixing current trends with classic silhouettes, and the Maniaa is certainly no exception. Last by not least I kept it simple and oversized on top to keep the attention on my shoes. I’ll be teaming up with Steve Madden for a few other posts about how to wear their shoes in style. Stay tuned!
