You may recognize the name Original Tomboy from Season 10 of Project Runway, and if you’re from the Louisville area you will recognize her face since she hails from our neck of the woods as well. Recently she reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in styling some pieces from her latest collection, and I was incredibly honored to have the opportunity to work with her. Her collection is unique in the sense that she doesn’t make men’s or women’s clothing, she makes clothes for people. She realized that clothing needs to be functional and serve a purpose, with cool details & hidden messages, but most importantly, give the wearer something that allows their true colors shine through.

Today’s look is the first of three I chose from her collection. Due to mother nature being off her meds again this week I had to ditch the shorts in lieu of some pants, but the shirts speak for the collection all by themselves. All of which are incredibly comfortable, oversized, and unique, just like I like my shirts. There are little bits of  Alicia in every shirt she makes, from the striped detailing or the oversized pocket on this one. Her shirts melt perfectly into your closet by updating your basics with a fun, new sense of you. Can’t wait to show you tomorrow’s look! In the mean time be sure to check out what Alicia has been up to on her website at, TheOriginalTomboy.com

Stylishly Yours,

Josh Johnson
