Forecastle Festival is just a few days away, and I couldn’t be more excited.
What better way to kick off Forecastle week on the blog than to showcase an outfit from a Louisville native, Other Nature Clothing. When saying I’m from Kentucky, I almost always immediately follow up with, but I’m from Louisville. There’s usually an audible sigh of relief once I make the distinction. It’s almost like Louisville is a separate state from the rest of Kentucky, and moments like Forecastle Festival are exactly why. Forecastle may not be as big as other summer festivals like Bonnaroo, Coachella, or Lollapalooza, but it’s certainly making leaps and bounds in the right direction with headliners this year like Jack White, Beck, and Outkast. I’ll be showing some of my favorites for summer festival style this week on the blog, starting with this staple look. Cut-off shorts scream summer to me, especially when paired with a white shirt.
