Fast Fresh Filling

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group®, Birds Eye®, and Tyson® but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #FastFreshFilling http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

My travel schedule has been more than a little insane lately, and when my schedule gets hectic my diet definitely suffers. By diet I don’t mean that I’m on a diet, I mean that I often times forget to eat. Seriously some days (read that most days) I look up from my computer, see that it’s 6 pm, and realize that I’ve completely forgotten to eat that day. I blame it on the copious amounts of coffee that I drink because we all know that drinking a lot of coffee can impact how our bodies realize our hunger. It’s also a very, very serious possibility that I don’t want to take a break from work in order to cook, because it usually turns into a much longer process than originally expected.

If you’re in the same boat as me, I’m glad you feel my pain – really, I am. Some people just don’t understand it, and I sound like a crazy person. But if you, like me, forget or just get too busy to eat I may have a little something, something to make your life easier. Birds Eye released Steamfresh® Protein Blends, which when combined with some Tyson chicken actually make a for an incredibly quick (I’m talking less than 10 minutes total here) and filling meal. I picked these up when I was running errands at Walmart before my trip to #SBSCon, and I’m not gonna lie – it was seriously all I ate for the two days leading up to my trip.

  • working from home has my schedule all over the place and while I re-fill my coffee mug many times a day, when I’m busy I can’t figure out why I’m ravenous till I realize it’s 3pm. I’ve taken to prepping a weeks worth of lunches on Sunday or Monday. Chicken & potato salad this week with tons of cherries and sliced veggies.

    • That’s a great idea Allison! And I’m SO glad I’m not the only one in that boat 😉
