Some days are good days, others you’ll never forget. Yesterday I met with the Kentucky Department of Travel and Tourism to discuss some things, and one thing everyone agreed upon was that Kentucky is more than meets the eye. I’m able to say that the meeting went incredibly well, and Adrian – Grit and Glitter Gal – are drafting some ideas up for events around Kentucky + places like Nashville. If all goes according to plan I hope to share the full details with you soon, but for now – as always – thank you for all your support.

What better way to celebrate a successful meeting than turning an online blog friend into a real life friend, especially when it’s coupled with good food, local beer, and even better conversation. Huge thanks to Pages of Style for introducing us to Limestone Blue I’ll never look at Mac and Cheese again the same way again.

  • So, I’ve spent the last hour (at work!) perusing your blog. I’m not from Kentucky, but my mom lives there now. I go back every Christmas, I usually spend two or three days, barely leave my relatives’ houses, and head back home (to Texas). But this year I figured it was time to discover Louisville (especially since I was spending seven days there over the holidays). Well… that town IS pretty bad ass. But, I wish I would have found this blog before visiting because I would have been SO much more well-informed. Oh, well… there’s always next year.

    • Marcus, thanks for stopping by (especially when at work)! I definitely appreciate it, and I’m so glad you were able to explore Louisville a little bit. I try to keep the site updated with what I’m doing around town + what other like minded people may be getting into. Definitely hit me up next time you’re back in Louisville, and I’ll give you some spots to check out. Thanks again!
